Pam not only provides excellent resource information for midcentury renovators. She also takes an admirably broad view of midcentury styles, not just limiting herself and her readers to the "museum" pieces by the iconic designers whose names and designs we see repeated endlessly on most MCM blogs. Midcentury style was so much more than just idealized Palm Springs Moderne, and RetroRenovation celebrates the middle-class modest right alongside the majestic.
Plus, Pam works so HARD at keeping a steady flow of information beaming at us, you'd think she was a staff of ten instead of just her lone self putting it all together. RetroReno has been a daily must-read for me since the day it hit the InterTubes.

Where to begin? RetroRenovation has been a daily destination for me for the past two years. It has been a resource and inspiration for projects around my last and current home, and a source of validation for my obsessions! There are really people out there who find mid-century everything just as fascinating as I do! This blog inspired me to start my own blog, to start an Etsy shop, and to make my home the best it can be. I never tire of looking at the time-capsules, estate sales, products, resources, vintage images, etc. that Pam tirelessly researches and shares with all of us. She is my Retro Goddess!

I look forward every day to seeing what's up at RetroRenovation. Discovered Pam's wonderful site after moving into a 1952 Cape, and have found inspiration in so many ways on the site. The spectrum from Mid-Century Modern to "Mid-Century Modest" is perfect--embracing so many different styles. I LOVE that Pam and her blog are spreading the word that these homes are worth preserving, and their features are worth enjoying just as they are---hooray for pink bathrooms & turquoise kitchens!
Thanks, Pam!
